  Notes	Malone Garland age 89, of White Oak Rd. Passed away. June 12, 2006in Carroll County,MD.He was born in Mitchell Co. to Garrett and Mary Greene Garland. He served in The United StatesArmy duringbWWII for 4 yrs. After the war he was a crane operator. Then moved back to Bakersville to farm. He was preceded in death by one son: Randy Garland, one brother: Roy Garland and two sisters Viola Masters and Nellie Yelton. Survivors include three brothers: Ernest and Cecil Garland of Johnson City,TN. And Nattie Garland of Glen Rock,PA. three sisters: Fairy Mae Carver of York, PA. Hazel Stevens of Bakersville, NC and Shirley Yelton of Finksburg, MD. Two grand daughters. Funeral Services will be conducted Sat. June 17, 2006 2PM at the chapel of Henline Hughes with GB Garland and Cecil Garland to officiate. The family will receive friends Two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Greene – Garland Cemetery.
