- Mrs. Julie E. Trivett, 94, 4256 Highway 321 Butler, died Monday, April 5, 1999, at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Trivett was a native of Johnson County and had lived in Carter County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Dyer Berry and was also preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Trivett, in 1985, five brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Trivett was a homemaker and former owner-operator, with her husband, of the Trivett Grocery in Butler. She was a member of the Little Milligan Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Albert Lewis, Spring City, Tenn., and June and Roy Wagner, Butler, and a sister, Sarah Hyder, Elizabethton. Five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
TRIVETT -- Funeral services for Mrs. Julie E. Trivett, 94, 4256 Highway 321 Butler, who died Monday, will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with Rev. Cecil "Nick" Bradshaw officiating. Music will be by Jerry Barnett, soloist. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lakeview Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
