  Notes	CHURCH HILL — Geneva G. Phillips, 85, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. Geneva was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Dewey and Etta Oliver Grindstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Phillips; a sister, Eudina Bordeaux; and a brother, Mac Grindstaff. Geneva was a member of First Baptist Church, Church Hill. Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Phillips; a son, Bo (Gena) Phillips; grandchildren, Rebecca and Emma Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Tri-Cities Funeral Home. The graveside service will immediately follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating.
