- Ella Mae Anderson Trivett, age 81, of Vilas, died August 5, 2014, at Watauga Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1933 in Watauga County. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 38 1/2 years. She was an avid quilter, crocheter, and homemaker. She recently read her Bible through for the 5th time, which she never felt this to be a chore, but counted it as an honor.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Blaine "Bob" Trivett and wife Janet of Zionville, and James Trivett and wife Libby of Vilas; five grandchildren, Robert "Dale" Trivett and wife Amy, Bobbie Sue Trivett, Emily Ragan and husband Bobby, Nancy Trivett, Kevin Trivett and wife Bonnie; fourteen great-grandchildren, Ella Fay Trivett, Jayden Trivett, Jazmine Trivett, an unborn baby boy, J.T. Isaacs-Trivett , Conner Isaacs-Trivett, Parker Isaac-Trivett, Adam Trivett Timothy Trivett, Nathan Trivett, Nickolas Trivett, and step great-grandchildren, Jackson, Carson, and Ainsley Guynn; one sister, Judy Greene and husband J.B. of Colletsville, NC; one brother, Minister J.C. Anderson and wife Betty Sue of Abingdon, VA, and a special sister-in-law, Ava Trivett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Trivett; two sisters, Verlee Cole and Geneva Bentley, and one brother, Billy Anderson.
Funeral services were held at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, officiated by Preacher Wynn Greer, Reverend Burl Greer, and Minister J.C. Anderson. Burial in the Anderson Family Cemetery (Mount Lebanon Cemetery).
