- Thomas Irick, age 40, of 127 Dan Cole Road, Elizabethton, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on 19-E Roan Mountain. He was a native of Eugene, Oregon, but has lived in Elizabethton since 1969. Mr. Irick was the son of Merle Church Irick, Elizabethton, and the late Jack Irick. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Irick was a Brick and Stone Mason. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his wife, Nadine Fitch Irick, of the home; son, Josh Irick, Elizabethton; step-son, Jason Hobbs, Elizabethton; step- daughter, Jennifer Hobbs, Johnson City; four grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Jeff Irick, Knoxville, TN and Larry Irick, Virginia; Sister, Lynn Shryock, Elizabethton; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
