- Claudia Ann Forrester Humphries passed away in her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 after a lengthy time with Alzheimers.
She was a native of Johnson City and lived numerous places throughout the world before settling in Sevier County for 19 years. Claudia worked for the federal government for 15 years prior to opening an interior design business with her husband.
Preceded in death by parents, Samuel Edward and Minnie Roorda Forrester and two sisters, Edna Forrester Pierce and Ina Lynelle Forrester. Survivors: Husband of 48 years Major Harold L. Humphries; Daughter, Beverly Dawn Humphries; Son, Ryan Keith Humphries, Daughter-in-law, Andrea Floyd; Sister, Melba Forrester Easley, Brother, Keith Edward Forrester, 6 nieces and nephews, and her best friend Prissy.
