- Shade Estep, 67, Rt. 9, Southside Road, died Wednesday, April 8, of an apparent heart attack while attending services at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
He was a Carter County native and a son the late Godfrey H. and Lora Marie Richardson Estep.
Mr. Estep was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corp.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Estep was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church, where he formerly served as a deacon. He attended Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Holder Estep; two daughters, Diana Estep and Donna Estep, both of the home; two sisters, Helen Estep, Elizabethton, and Selma Swift, Opeka FL; one brother Burton Estep, Adairville KY; and several nieces and nephews.
