- Sheilda "Gail" Edwards, 80, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at her daughters home in Stafford Virginia.
She was a native of Elizabethton, Tennessee. The daughter of the late William N. Berry and Cathryn Peters Berry. She was retired from Prince William County Schools in Woodbridge, Virginia.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her significant other of 36 years Geogre Cade; two sisters, Billie Kirk and Loretta Berry; and her two great grandchildren, Melanie Frye and Braylen Tipton.
Survivors include three daughters Angela Cook, Cathy Edwards Mangan, Kimberly D. Edwards. Sister Pamela Walsh (Charlie Walsh). Former spouse Arby Edwards; grandchildren David Curfiss Jr., Tara Brugger, Ross Edwards, John Cook Jr., Savana Cook, James Mangan III, Kristin Frye, Branson Tipton Jr., Skyler Tipton, Cassidy Tipton, Tristin Tipton and great grandchildren Lily Curfiss, Cameron Curfiss, Jacob Brugger, Clark Brugger, Marcus Brugger Jr., Mckenzie Frye, Olivia Mangan, Ethan Mangan, Carter Tipton-Showe.
The family of Sheilda Gail Edwards will receive friends starting at 1000am on Saturday August 24, 2019 at Monte Vista Funeral Home in Johnson City, Tennessee. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home with the burial to follow at Caldwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
