- William Conley Osborne, 82, was remembered at funeral services held May 19 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bruce Roten and Rev. Darrell Graybeal officiated.
Burial followed in the Brown Cemetery with military rites.
Mr. Osborne was born to John Osborne and Rettie Roten Osborne. He was a truck driver. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Brown Osborne, of the home; a son, Richard Osborne, Creston; a daughter, Nancy Rupard, Jefferson; a brother, John Osborne, Rising Sun, Md.; four sisters, Pearl McCoy, Ashe Living Center, June Potter and Jean Gentry, both of Mountain City, Tenn., and Laura Nichols, Lansing; a grandson, Matthew Rupard; a step-grandson, Clay Rupard; and several nieces and nephews.
