- Our dear Theda Rebecca (Martin) Stewart, age 93, left this world and entered the presence of her
Savior on 30 December the Lord's Day 2018. Theda was preceded in death by her husband of 45
years, Phil Andrew Stewart, whom she loved deeply.
She was born 19 March, 1925 to the late Everett and Vennie Martin. She is also survived by sisters Louine Wilson, Ruth Lewis (Jack Lewis), Mary Joyce Tucker (William Tucker) and brother, Ron Martin.
Theda and Phil were married in 1945, together they spent their married life in the beautiful town of Mountain City, Tennessee. They raised two children, Larry Martin Stewart, wife Lucy, who now
resides in Niceville Fl and Sandra Sue Arnold, husband Perry Arnold, who now lives in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Theda and Phil were active members of the community and First Baptist Church Mountain

Theda's trust in Christ was evident to those who knew her. Her prayers on behalf of her family were constant. She will be missed dearly. We mourn for our loss but we do not mourn like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 1 Thessalonians 4:13
