- Mrs. Patsy Raye Eggers, 71, passed away on November 1, 2018, to be with her Lord and Savior; family was by her side as she passed.
Patsy fought her battle with pancreatic cancer courageously. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Mary Ruth Haworth, grandparents, Lilly and Charlie Lowery, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Edna Eggers, and several cousins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years, Bobby, her loving son Brian Eggers and his wife Kim, her sister Dona Bryant, of New Market, niece Kimberly Burkhalter and husband Don, her nephews and several cousins, including a special cousin, Billy Haworth, sister-in-law Anna Reeves, a very special granddaughter Savannah Eggers and her fiancé Robbie Jackson, and her two precious dogs, Mason and Otis.
All who knew her will miss her sweet smile and happy personality. Her proudest achievements in life include being a loving wife, mother, and meemaw. She cared deeply for all of her family and friends, and she had a strong passion for animals. She was awarded a lifetime membership in the Asbury PTA for her work as a substitute teachers and library assistant at Asbury Elementary.
She will dearly miss her pastor, Perry Cleek, and all her friends and church family at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church. Per her request, there will be no services.
