- Geneva J. Blevins, 80, formerly of Old Hwy. 143, Roan Mountain,died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Roan Highlands Nursing Center, Roan Mountain, following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Cain and Delia McKinney Julian.
She was a member of Roan Mountain Holiness Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Blevins, Sr. and two brothers, Nathan Julian and Norman Julian.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain with Rev. Don Julian officiating. Music will be under the direction of Pat Julian, Jean Honeycutt and Charlotte Smith. Burial will follow the funeral
service at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
