- Zebulon (Bud) Johnson, age 85, of Newland, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at The Waters at Roan Highlands Nursing Center in Roan Mountain, Tenn.
He was born on March 20, 1933 in Avery County, North Carolina, a son of Lillard Johnson and Augusta Cole Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sons: David (Bud) Johnson, Danny Johnson; Daughter: Mary Buchanan; Sisters: Marie Cuthbertson, Nellie Vines, and Shirley Sines.
Bud enjoyed Farming and listening to Country and Bluegrass Music.
Zebulon leaves behind to cherish his memory his: Daughters: Aneda (Randall Clark) Johnson of Crossnore, NC; Sherry (Mario Lopez) Ollis of Newland, NC; Sisters: Welda Woodie of Morganton, NC, Velma (Jim) Oxendine of Johnson City, Tenn., Doris (Glen) Taylor of Canton, Ohio; nine Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren; brother-in-law: E.C. Vines; son-in-law: Keith Buchanan and several nieces and nephews.
