- JOHNSON CITY - It is with great sadness that the family of Mallie "Kathleen" Mann, of Johnson City, announces her passing on Monday, February 11, 2019, at the age of 99 years.
Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barbara Shaw of Lonsdale, MN, and Linda Maness and Deborah Mann of Kingsport, TN. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters of Morristown, TN, Violet Reynolds and Helen Hoffer, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Lonnie Mann. She was also predeceased by her children, James Lonnie, Jr, and Mary Anne Mann.
Kathleen retired from Sears in 1985, after 22 years of service. Known by many as, "Granny," she was a spunky woman who spoke her mind and stood her ground. She will be missed.
A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
