- Mrs. Pauline Kelly, 88, 903 Oak Street, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at Hillview Health Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kelly was a native of Avery County, N.C., and a daughter of the late David and Ruby Cook Trivett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Coy Kelly, January 19, 1957, a daughter, Wanda Bass, a son, Paul Kelly, a brother, James Trivett, and two sisters, Louise Oliver and Loy Trivett.
Mrs. Kelly had lived in Elizabethton since 1928. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years and was active in the W.M.U. of the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Cole, Elizabethton; a son, David Kelly, Jefferson City; two sisters, Margie Trivett, Elk Park, N.C., and Agnes Walsh, Dearborn, Mich.; two brothers, Omer Trivett and Bert Trivett, both of Elk Park N.C.; a son-in-law, James Bass; a daughter-in-law, Lucille Kelly; and a sister-in-law, Betsy Bare. Eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
