CARRIE SHOUN DIES IN WASHINGTON Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Victoria Cole Shoun, 86 years old, who passed away May 4 after a brief illness in Cashmere, Wash. are tentatively set for Monday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, Doe Valley. She was the widow of the late Walter Shoun and the daughter of the late Albert and Delray Reece Cole. Mrs. Shoun had made her home in Cashmere since the death of her husband 27 years ago. She is survived by three sons, H. Maine Shoun, Boise, Idaho; C. Otis Shoun, Cashmere, Wash., and Burley H. Shoun, Mountain City; two brothers, Dudley Cole, Cochranville, Pa., Blaine C. Cole, Rt. 3, Mountain City; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Gore, Kirkland, Wash. seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The body is expected to arrive here sometime Saturday night. Lewis Gentry Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements. Interment will be in Shoun cemetery.
