- Diane Lynn Buchanan, 63, of Morganton, NC died Monday, August 07, 2017. Born on January 12, 1954 in Avery County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Buchanan and Judy Johnson Buchanan.
Diane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Mountain View #1 Church. Diane was a true born again Christian who enjoyed going to church. Before becoming disabled she sang and witnessed for the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Buchanan Bartlett and brother, Robert Buchanan, Jr.
Diane is survived by her husband, Joe Buchanan; daughters, Felicia Nunez and husband, Nicholas and Crystal Carswell and husband, Paul; step-sons, Joe Buchanan, Jr. and wife, Lorie and Jeff Buchanan and wife, Rebecca; and five grandchildren.
