- WATAUGA - Geneva Hill Elliott, 86, Watauga, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at the residence of her daughter.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Anderson & Bell Whitehead Hill. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Elliott was of the Baptist Faith. She loved gardening & working in her flowers. She also worked along with her husband in the operation of their family farm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Elliott who passed away July 3, 2011, by a grandson, Charles Harrald, a brother, Anderson Hill, Jr. and two sisters: Mary Mundy and Phyllis Elliott
Survivors include her daughter: Joyce Harrald. Three Grandchildren: Mark Harrald, Tonia Harrald, and Ava Harrald. Three Great Grandchildren: Allie Harrald, Thomas Mathes and Cody Mathes.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Mark Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Hicks Cemetery (Ripshin Mountain). Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
