- Mrs. Roxie Brummett Jones, 74, 22009 Bernard, Taylor, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at Harper Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was a Unicoi County, Tenn., native and a daughter of the late Hasco Brummett and Mary Tolley Brummett.
She had been employed in the Activities Department of Regency Health Care Center, Taylor, for the past 24 years.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Dearborn Heights.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester Brummett and Kyle Ferrell; and one sister, Carolyn Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Jones; two sons, Mike Jones, Johnson City, Tenn., and Stephen Jones, Howell; two daughters, Sue Massucci and Julie Jones, both of Taylor; four brothers, Joe Ferrell, Johnson City, and Don Brummett, Gerald Brummett and Alan Brummett, all of Bowling Green, Fla.; two sisters, Patricia Thornhill, Fort Pierce, Fla., and Gail Ferrell, Elizabethton, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Roxie Brummett Jones, age 74, 22009 Bernard, Taylor, Mich., who went to be with the Lord on Friday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The Rev. Eugene Penland will officiate. Burial will follow committal services at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Monte Vista Burial Park. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
