- JOHNSON CITY - Debra Fay Moody, 62, Johnson City, passed away Monday August 6, 2018 at her residence.
A native of Banner Elk, North Carolina, she had lived in Johnson City most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. Debra was preceded in death by her mother: Helen Marie Shell Moody.
Survivors include her son: David Moody, Piney Flats, a daughter: Lucy Moody & her husband Efren Mejia, Johnson City. Five Grandchildren: Daniel, Briana, Ashley, Jose and Damian. Four great grandchildren: Hayden, Arianna, Amia and Zaelyn. Her father: Jim Moody, Johnson City, brothers: Michael Moody, Elk Park, North Carolina and Greg Moody, Johnson City, her sister: Penny Lawson of North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Cretsinger officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Moody, Daniel Moody, Efren Mejia, Ruben Jimenez and Joaquin Gordillo.
