- Mary Lee Buchanan Henline, 81, of Biggerstaff Road, Spruce Pine died Sunday, July 2, 2006 in the Cannon Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the later Silas and Ethel English Buchanan she was owner and operator along with her husband of the Textile Center and a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church for 59 years. She was preceded in death by a brother J. Walter Buchanan and a sister Willie Rae Jobe.
Survivors include her husband Phillip Henline of the home, a son Mark Henline and wife Frances of Crossnore; grand-daughter Noelle Henline also of Crossnore; three sisters Ann Hobson and Alma Thomas both of Johnson City, TN and Aileen English of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Henline will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 5 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Brandon Pittma
