- Tony Lee Taylor Sr., 68, Elizabethton, gained his angel wings, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the 1973 graduating class of Unaka High School.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Louise "Tom" Taylor, his father-in-law, Bud Rainbolt and brother-in-law, Dean Rainbolt.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Kimberly Rainbolt Taylor, one son Tony Lee Taylor, Jr., the mother of his children Jessica Taylor, two Grandson's, Mason and Maddux Taylor, one Granddaughter, Makayla Taylor. Special nephews, Joshua Burrow and Andreyan Burrow. His fur baby, Sasha.
Honorable friends: James "Jim" Taylor, Perry & Mary James, Denise Heflin, Toddy Berry, and Keith Peters, and the doctor and nurses that showed love and compassion to Tony in his long confinement at M.D. Anderson Hospital.
It was Tony's wish to be cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
