- Miss Rebecca Cable, 94 of Campbellsville, who had been a patient at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg Ky, for the past seven years. Daughter of the late Mr. James Wesley Cable and Mrs. Nancy Green Cable, was born in Watauga County, North Carolina, August 14, 1884. She died at 12 noon, Saturday March 10, 1979, at the McDowell Wing of the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Acton Baptist Mission. She is survived by two nephews and one niece and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Harden Hosey.
