- Floyd Trivette
Floyd James Trivette, 60, Rt. 8, Lynnwood Apartment D-2, Eliabethton, died Friday in the Wilkes General Hospital, North Wilkesboro, N. C, following a brief illness.
A native of Avery County, N. C, he was the son of the late John S. and Janie Green Trivette. Mr. Trivette was a retired employee of the Carricks Turning Works, High Point, N. C, and a member of the Valley Forge , Church of Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Floyd James Trivette, Jr., in 1979.
Survivors include his wife. Willie Hayes Trivette, of the home; two sons, Alvin Trivette and Bingham Trivette, both of High Point, N. C; one step-son, Albert Ledford, Martinsville, Va.; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson, HI. 3, Elizabethton. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
TRIVETTE Funeral services for Floyd James Trivette, 60, Rt. 8, Lynnwood Apartment D-2, Elizabethton, whd died Friday, will be conducted at ll a.m. Monday from the Tetriek Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev, J. C. Barnette and Mr. Clay Bailey, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Pruitt. Interment will follow in the McGuirc Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dean Stevens; Troy Mann, Gregory Miller, .James Townsend, Don Townsend, John Paul Matlies, Sandy Bradley and Herman Green. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday, and at the home of a sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson, Rt. 3. Elizabethton, Tetrick Funeral Home. Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
