  Notes	"Elizabethton Star," Saturday, May 19, 1934 MOUNTAIN CITY. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday for Mrs. C. I. Shoun, who died Monday. The services were in charge of Rev. J. W. Crowe and Rev. J. O. Jones. Mrs. Shoun was 71 years of age. She had been in ailing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. She is survived by one son, Hillie Shoun; four daughters, Mrs. Kemp Lowe, Mrs. R. B. Walsh, Mrs. Clifford Pierce of Doe Valley and Mrs. Brookshire of Jonesboro. Interment was in the Shoun Cemetery.
