- Martha L. Buck Oliver, 93, of Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 8, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Estridge Buck. She was also preceded in death by her son, Rickey Wayne Oliver, on November 9, 2018.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of Hunter Memorial Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Paul W. Oliver; two grandchildren, Cherokee Oliver and Phillip Brandon Oliver; three brothers, Billy Joe, Ray and Jerry Buck; and one sister, Sue Jarrett. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Robert Guy Oliver and Terry Oliver.
Graveside services and interment for Martha L. Buck Oliver will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, February 11, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Terry Oliver officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m., are Anthony Buck, Eric Buck, Keith Mullins, Michael Buck, Jackie Buck and Brian Grindstaff.
