  Notes	Mrs. Maude Ethel Broyles, 84, Rt. 3, Butler, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1991 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Broyles was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Crumley and Cora Presnell Pierce. She was a member of the Pierce Town Baptist Church. Mrs. Broyles was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Victor Broyles, a son, Earl Broyles, and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Garland, Mrs. Park (Sue) Arnold and Corine; and one son, Ralph Broyles. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday from Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Howard Estep officiating. The Little Doe Baptist Church Choir will be in charge of music. Interment will be 11 a.m. Friday in Butler Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Appalachian Home Health Care Center and Dr. Donald Walters. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence at any time. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Friday
