- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Birta Lucille Harshbarger, 95, of Jacksonville, FL, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at her residence.
She was a daughter of the late Lula Pritchard and James Wesley Moody.
She was a Greeneville, TN, native who had lived in Johnson City for years prior to relocating to Florida.
Mrs. Harshbarger was a former member of Central Baptist Church, Johnson City.
Mrs. Harshbarger was a former proprieter of the South Roan Grill.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harshbarger was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest Harshbarger; sister, Clara Mottern; and brother, Stewart Moody.
Survivors include: three nieces, Kathy Davitt and her husband, Jack, of Jacksonville, FL, Karen Nilsson and her husband, Harry, of St. Augustine, FL, and Rheba Lowry, of Euclid, OH; five great nieces and nephews, Michael, Steven, Julie, Joseph and Hunter; and numerous cousins.
Services for Birta Lucille Harsbarger will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2011, from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. R. Willard Warfield will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Joseph Davitt, Hunter Davitt, Harry Nilsson, Charles Pritchard, John Pritchard and Barry Pritchard. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery for those services.
