- Dean Campbell age 69, of RD Campbell Road passed away unexpectedly March 7, 2018. He was born on August 22nd, 1948 to the late R.D. Campbell and Wilma Stansberry Campbell.In addition to his parents he was preceded by a grandchild, Tracy Potter. He enjoyed watching Nascar, Tennessee Volunteers football, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was caretaker of the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for many years as well as a deacon and Sunday school super attendant. He was a member of the Roan Creek Masonic Lodge 679 F & AM, the Johnson County Shrine Club and the Jerico Temple. He was instrumental in the operation of the Johnson County Masonic Shoe Program. He was District Deputy Chairman for District 24 of Grand Lodge F & AM of Tennessee.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Jean Lunceford Campbell, his daughter Beverly Potter of La Plata, MD. His son Buzz Campbell of Butler. His sister Maxine Carter of Atlanta, GA. His four grandchildren Elizabeth Miller, Tabitha Potter, Cheyenne Campbell, and William Potter. His two great grandchildren Ryanne Miller and Charleigh Miller. Along with several nieces and nephews.
