- Mrs. Cora Jane Peters Crowe, 82, Rt. 7, Elizabethton, died Sunday, November 28, 1993, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Crowe as a native of Carter County and a daughter of the Wiley C. and Doshie Richardson Peters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dana E. Crowe, in 1983, a son, Clifton Crowe, and seven brothers. Mrs. Crowe was a Charter member of the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Grindstaff, Rt. 7, Elizabethton; a granddaughter, Sandy
Bowling of Elizabethton; two great-granddaughters, Sauna and Tara Bowling of Elizabethton; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Peters of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Jane Peters Crowe, 82, Rt. 7, Elizabethton, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday from Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Colbaugh and Rev. Jonas Revis officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Blevins Cemetery.
