- He was the son of the late John B. and Mattie Range Campbell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Nichols Campbell, December 31, 1988, and two brothers, William Vane Campbell and Raymond Lewis Campbell.
He was a 1941 graduate of Happy Valley High School and a retired supervisor for the Uniroyal Chemical Company in Cross Roads, Ala. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Interment was at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
