- JOHNSON CITY - Doris Lee Blankenship, 81, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was a native of Johnson City and daughter of the late John Walter and Mary Franklin Presley.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Blankenship, her son, Eugene "Blue" Miller, her brothers: Buster Presley, and Bill Presley; her sisters: Elizabeth Fayhea, Mae Deloach, Betty Cole, and Susan Carver.
Doris enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel music. She mostly loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish Doris' memory include her sons: Ronnie Miller and his wife Rosa, , Charles Miller and his wife Carolyn; sister, Mary Louvenia Davis; grandchildren: Angel Holloway, April Miller, Kim Glombowski, Wendy Gucman, Sindy Gucman, Greg Miller, Brandon Miller, Charles "Jingle" Miller, Jr., Devin Weaver, Ryan Miller, and Zachery Miller, , 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends to share memories on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Doris' Life at 12:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor James "Buddy" Cretsinger officiating. A Graveside and Committal service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday at Washington County Memory Gardens. Ronnie Miller, Charles Miller, Greg Miller, Charles Miller, Jr. (Jingle) and Devin Weaver will serve as pallbearers
