- GRAY - Jack S. Fletcher, 86, of Gray, TN passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center after a long illness. Jack was born on February 17, 1931 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Dora Fletcher Peters. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bynum Peters. Jack was a Sargent in the United States Air Force and a manager of Anderson Steel in South Carolina. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Johnson City. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen, and his devoted son, Steve. He is also survived by his brothers, Russell and wife Bonnie, Willard and wife Joy, Roscoe and wife Lynetta, and Norman; his sisters, Joyce Grindstaff, Jeanette Bowers, and Lena Peters; brother-in-law, Charles and his wife Sharon; Sisters-in-law, Ruth and husband E.T., Betty Jo and husband Emerson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 12pm with Visitation from 11am-12pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 603 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604. A Graveside and Committal Service will be held March 8, 2017 at 2:30pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:20pm.
