MRS. SALLIE ROBINSON
Mrs. Sallie Robinson, 77, died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Marvin Markland of Route 5 Friday at 3:45 p.m. after a long illness. She had been a member of the Stoney Creek Baptist Church for the past 60 years, and a member of the Daughters of American Rose Leaf Council Number 6. She has made her home with Mrs. Markland for the past seven years. Mrs. Robinson was the widow of the late Dr. N. D. Robinson of Carter.
Survivors are one brother, S. T. Nidiffer of Route 2; four sisters, Mrs. W. B. Peters, Mrs. M. M Markland, Sr., Mrs. Jessie Bradley, and Mrs. S. T. Bradley all of Route 5; 3 nephews and 3 nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. D. R. Kilgore officiating. Burial will be in the Happy Valley Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be the nephews, Howard Peters, Melvin Markland, Jr., Edward E. Bradley, N. E. Nidiffer, Conley Peters and Vern Peters.
Flower bearers will be members of the Daughters of American Rose Leaf Council Number 6.
The body was removed to the home of Mrs. Markland Saturday afternoon from the chapel of the Tetrick Funeral Home where it will remain until time for the services.
