- He was the son of the late Herman and Iva Hensley Reeser and was also preceded in death by a sister, Jody Reeser, and two brothers, Paul Reeser and Claude Reeser, who died September 25, 2002.
Mr. Reeser was retired from the Charles Swatzell Construction Company as a carpenter. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and past member of Doe River Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee, Deacon and Treasurer for several years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.
Graveside services and interment were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
