Mrs. Matheson was born in Jonesborough and daughter of the late Ordie K. & Dorothy Keys Hilbert. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Lawrence Matheson, Jonesborough; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Lawrence "Dan", Jr. & Sandy Matheson, Ogle Thorpe, Georgia and Randall & Jane Matheson, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Andrew Matheson, Rachel Collette and husband Kevin, David Matheson and Aaron Matheson. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30PM Friday, December 27, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Ron Thompson officiating.
