- Charles James Osborne, Jr., age 80, of Bluff City, TN passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a son to the late Charles, Sr. and Lillie Hicks Osborne and was a lifelong resident of Bluff City.
Mr. Osborne was a disabled veteran serving in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Holston Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Wife of 59 years – Ruby E. Osborne
Sons – Charles Osborne and wife Ann, Eddie Osborne and wife Frances, Jerry Osborne and wife Teresa
Grandchildren – Wesley, Anthony, Brenda, Sharon, Mike, and Brandon
10 Great Grandchildren
Brother – I. G. Osborne
Sister – Rosezene Salyer
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 4:00 pm in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Byerly and Rev. Haynes Watson officiating.
Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Curly Cox, E.D. Perry, R.C. Barry, Allen Jones, Raymond White, and Bill Littleford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Clevenger and Jim Rhymer.
