- Rana Dugger Trivette, 92, of Butler, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System following an extended illness.
Ms. Trivette was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Martha Jane Dugger. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Henson; three brothers, Wheeler Hicks, Breamer Dugger and Earl Dugger; and four sisters, Ethel Lambert, Sylvia Harmon, Flossie Baird and Stella Ward.
Ms. Trivette retired from Blue Ridge Shoe Company as an assembly worker and was a member of Piney Grove Church of Christ in the Poga Community.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Glenda Kay Brush and husband, Richard, Morristown, TN; a son, Boyd Trivette and wife, Donnis, Butler, TN; five grandchildren, Sheila Loudermilk and husband, Mike, Lisa Brush, Heather Brush Hawkins and husband, John, Todd Trivette and wife, Beverly, and Eric Trivette; two great grandchildren, Justin Loudermilk and Jake Trivette; a son-in-law, Charles Henson, Elizabethton; one sister, Selma Dugger, Butler; several nieces and nephews to include special nephews, Ricky Harmon and Dewey Dugger, and special nieces, Barbara Nunley, Arbeulah Lambert, Shelby Lunceford and Margaret Ward.
The funeral service for Ms. Trivette will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Piney Grove Church of Christ with Pastor Dean Estep and Pastor Steve Hilmon officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2013, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral Home in Elizabethton.
The graveside service will follow in the Piney Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Justin Loudermilk, Jake Trivette, Dexter Lunceford, Richard Lunceford, Danny Lunceford and Ricky Harmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Henson, Richard Brush, Mike Loudermilk, John Hawkins, Todd Trivette, Eric Trivette, Dean Estep, Michael Nunley, Carrol Clawson, Dennis Clawson, Carl Cable, Ben Greene, Timmy Ward, Brett Ward, Allen Stout, Gary Guy and Dr. Ray Lamb.
