- She was the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" and Jessie White Ensor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Ernie" Garrison, September 8, 1986; a son, Jerry Garrison; five brothers, John, Ben, Cecil, Jim and Dan Ensor; and four sisters, Amelia Nidiffer, Dot Kress, Mary "Poll" Ensor and Tilda Grindstaff; and a stepsister, Alma Swinger.
Mrs. Garrison was the Oldest Member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Naomi Garrison, 91, were conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at Dungan Chapel Baptist Church.
