- Ora McKeehan, 59, Route 4, Elizabethton, died at midnight Wednesday in Carter County Memorial Hospital. His death was attributed to a heart attack. He was a native and lifelong resident of Carter county and the son of the late John and Almeta Barrier McKeehan.
Mr. McKeehan was a carpenter.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Simerly McKeehan; three daughters, Mrs. Thurman Adams and Mrs. Carl Little, both of Route 7, and Mrs. James W. Clement, Japan; two sisters, Julia McKeehan, Route 4, and Mrs. Myrtle Brumit, Route 2, Johnson City; and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of relatives. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Ora McKeehan will be conducted from the chapel of the Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Berry and the Rev. B.S. Rhea, Jr., officiating.
Active pallbearers, Roy L. McKeehan, Wayne Livingston, Ralph Livingston, Anderson Lyons, Howard Hyder, Rowe Grindstaff, Haynes McKeehan, Woodrow Rhea.
Flower bearers will be friends and neighbors. Music in charge of Mrs. Howard Estep.
The body was returned to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thurman Adams, Route 7, Elizabethton and will be removed to the funeral home chapel Saturday at 12 noon to await the service hour. Burial will be made in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
