- CONCORD, NC — Euvada Ina Peters, 90, Concord, North Carolina formerly of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016, in the Carolinas Medical Center North East, Concord, North Carolina.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred M. & Mae Shankles Peters. She loved to cook, work in her flowers and loved to read. Euvada was a Charter Member and the oldest member of Carter Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother & sister-in-law, Durward. & Lucy Peters; and two sisters, Edith and Marjorie Peters.
Survivors include her special niece whom she made her home with, Jill Peters Croley and husband Dr. Giltz Croley and their two children, Mason & Mallory; two nephews, Frank Peters and wife Angie and their children, Jason, Lance, and Luke also Michael Peters and his children, Meredith, Weston & Jordan. Also several cousins and her special friend and neighbor, Lillian Carrier.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 21, 2016, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Darrell Cox, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in the Blevins Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be her church family.
