- Clifford Deloach, Sr., 72, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at his residence in Elizabethton.
He was a native of Butler and a son of the late, William and Roxie Mae Lipford Deloach. He was also preceded by 1 sister, Julie Carr and 2 brothers, Herb and Buddy Deloach.
Mr. Deloach was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
He had worked for over 20 years for ET&WNC Transportation and was retired from Penske Transportation as a Deisel Mechanic.
Survivors include; his wife of 53 years, Loretta Peters Deloach; one son, Clifford Deloach, Jr of Johnson City; two daughters, Tammy Bentley and her husband Steve of Elizabethton and Connie Delph of Jonesborough; three Grandchildren, Christy Manning and her husband Michael and Gary Delph, Jr and his wife, Mandy all of Johnson City and Stephen Aaron Bentley of Elizabethton; three great Grandchildren, Blake Delph, Kaelyn Delph and Adam Michael Manning all of Johnson City; four sisters, Ruby Morton, Lula Belle Frazier and JoAnn Jarrett all of Elizabethton and Betty Stevens of Hampton; several nieces and nephews also survive. Special friends, Archie Robinson, Larry Shoun, Paul Clawson and James Phipps.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Charles Knight and Rev. Kenley Knight will officiate. Burial services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Delph, Stephen Bentley, Travis Bates, Chad Bryant, Steve Bentley and Michael Manning. A procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery at 9:40 am Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Wednesday.
