- Jerome D. "J.D." Buck, 78, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2015, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
J.D. was a native of Johnson City. He was a son of the late Ira Nathaniel and Mary Ruth Jenkins Buck.
J.D. retired from Fluor Daniels Construction of Kingsport.
He was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: sister, Frances Buck Hicks, of Jonesborough; and brothers, Odell Buck, of Jonesborough, and Edgar Buck, of Johnson City.
Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Leonard Buck, of the home; one son, Chad Buck, of the home; one sister, Faye Miller, of Narvon, PA; two brothers, David Arnold, of Jonesborough, and Arthur, of Johnson City; special great niece and nephew, Claire and Greyson Nave; and several nieces and nephews.
