Boone F. Hodge...
Boone F. Hodge, age 81, Oxford, Pa., died in Cannon Memorial Hospital, Banner Elk, N.C., Sunday at 8:45 a.m. after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Johnson County, but had made his home in Oxford for the past 12 years. He was a retired farmer and member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Annie V. Hodge, Oxford, Pa.; a son, William S. Hodge, Uniontown, Pa.; five daughters, Mrs. Claude Graybeal, Pecopson, Pa., Mrs. Gale Graybeal, Oxford, Pa., Mrs. James Grindstaff, West Grove, Pa., Mrs. James Jones, Oxford, Pa., and Mrs. Ned Rhead, Summerville, S.C.; a brother, Lincoln Hodge, Mountain City; two sisters, Mrs. Garfield May, Trade; Mrs. Charles Dunn, Mountain City; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with H.T. Mabry and Rev. A.E. Browne to officiate. Burial will be in Reece Cemetery, Trade.
Lewis Gentry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
