- ELIZABETHTON — Mrs. Carol Morgan Bowers, 72, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Bowers was the daughter of the late Warner C. and Carol Jenkins Morgan and was born in Birmingham, AL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Presnell.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur "Deacon" Bowers, of the home; two daughters, Julie Presnell and her husband, Tony, Elizabethton; Donna Stanton and her husband, Bill, Mt. Pleasant, SC; a son, Paul Bowers, Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, Will Presnell,, Sarah Presnell and her husband, Ryan, and Rachel Lyons and her husband, Richard, all of Elizabethton; four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Caroline Presnell and Seth and Leah Lyons, all of Elizabethton; two brothers, Robert Morgan and his wife, Sharlotte, Decatur, AL and Bruce Morgan and his wife, Regina, Birmingham, AL.
A private family gathering will be conducted.
