- COOKEVILLE- Funeral services for Jessie Dayton Teague, 80, of Cookeville will be held Friday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Brother Eugene McCowan will officiate.
Mr. Teague died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998 at Masters Health Care Center in Algood.
He was born March 30, 1918 in Johnson City to the late Oscar Lee and Laura Mae Sammons Teague. He was a retired maintenance man and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
His family includes daughter Helen Ball of Cookeville; son Harry Teague of Middletown, Ohio; two step daughters, Diane Koss of Canton, Mich., and Bevery Siekierka of Garden City, Mich.; three granddaughters, Tammy Bass of Cookeville, Raylene Daniels of Nashville, and Tina Teague of New York City, New York.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Davis Teague.
