- ELIZABETHTON — Kenneth Brummitt, 74, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at his residence.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frank & Rebecca Wilcox Brummitt. He was a Carpenter. Kenneth was a member of the Braemar Baptist Church. He loved working with wood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Brummitt, Elizabethton and Mike Brummitt and wife Leanna, Hampton; three granddaughters, Michaela, Kortnee and Maggie; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Danny Osborne, Rev. Dexter Brumit and Rev. Luke Gwyn officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015, in the Lyons Cemetery. Music will be provided by the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Choir. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
