MARY ISABELLE HENSON SWIFT
...95 years, 9 months, and 10 days old, died Jan. 11 at the home of her son, Ham, Mountain City, route 1. She was a member of Doe Valley Baptist Church. Funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at Dewey Christian Church, with Rev. Earl Campbell and Rev. H. T. Mabry officiating. Burial was in the Wilson cemetery.
Survivors include 4 daughters and one son, Mrs. Susie Fenner, Bristol; Mrs. Callie Tester, Bruceville, Ind.; Mrs. Lennie Lewis of Shady Valley; Mrs. Vertie Ward of Neva; and Ham Swift of Mountain City; also 29 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were grandsons and flower girls were granddaughters.

MARY SWIFT...
...96, of Rte 1, died at her home on Thursday night, Jan. 11, after a short illness. She was a member of the Baptist Church since early childhood.
Survivors include a son, Ham, of Mountain City; four daughters, Mrs. Callie Tester, Bruceville, Ind., Mrs. Vertia Ward of Neva, Mrs. Lennie Lewis of Shady Valley, and Mrs. Susie Fenner of Bristol; 29 grandchildren, and 62 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at Dewey Christian Church at 2:00 o'clock Sunday, Jan. 14, with Rev. Earl Campbell and Rev. H. T. Mabry officiating. Burial was in the Wilson Cemetery.
