  Notes	"Elizabethton Star," Friday, Feb. 13, 1931 Mountain City News – A telegram was received here Monday announcing the death of Isaac Grindstaff at his home in Canada. Mr. Grindstaff was about 40 years of age. He was a native of this county, but had been away for several years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Betty Grindstaff, and one sister, Mrs. Hugh Barry, who reside here. Funeral arrangements have not been announced pending arrival of the body home.
