MRS. VADA PEARL LIPFORD
Mrs. Vada Pearl Lipford, 50, of Carderview, Tennessee, died in Duke Hospital, Durham, N.C., this morning.
She is survived by her husband, Rupert Earl Lipford; one daughter, Mrs. Jim Williams of Route 5, Elizabethton; one son, Glenn Lipford of Carderview; two sisters, Cecil Walsh of Elizabethton and Mrs. Will Lewis of Hampton; two brothers, Bert Walsh of Charleston, S.C., and Obbie Walsh of Elizabethton, and her father, George Walsh.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
A Funeral car from Tetrick Funeral Home left today at 7 a.m. for Durham to bring the body to Elizabethton.

MRS. VADA PEARL LIPFORD
Funeral services for Mrs. Vada Pearl Lipford, 50, of Carderview, who died in Duke Hospital, Durham, North Carolina, Monday morning, will be conducted at the Cobbs Creek Baptist Church, of which she was a member, Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. M. H. Carder officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. L. Nelson. Burial will be in the Butler Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be members of the Roan Creek Masonic Lodge number 679.
Flower bearers will be members of her Sunday School class of Cobbs Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Rupert Earl Lipford; one daughter, Mrs. Jim Williams of Route 5, Elizabethton; one son, Glenn Lipford of Carderview; two sisters, Cecil Walsh of Elizabethton and Mrs. Will Lewis of Hampton; two brothers, Bert Walsh of Charleston, S.C., and Obbie Walsh of Elizabethton, and her father, George Walsh.
The body will be taken to her home today at 4:30 p.m. from the chapel of the Tetrick Funeral Home.
